What we're looking for:

You are an energetic, seasoned Business Process Analyst with at least 2 years of experience and a technical degree. You have hands on experience designing, developing, and validating automated workflows using Alteryx. If you are also an excellent communicator with a track record of implementing successful automation workflows in a multi-national software corporation, we’d love to speak with you.

Position Overview

In this role you will be automating business process across the organization. The position requires an experienced analyst who has worked with Alteryx and other data analytic tools. In this capacity, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, developing solution design, and building workflows utilizing Alteryx and other automation tools, while adhering to project management lifecycle and rigorous data quality standards. You will also manage production support for identified issues and workflow management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding current state business process as well as conducting root cause analysis to drive solutions for simplification and automation.

  • Design and develop workflows and datasets in Alteryx to automate business processes for multiple business units. Experience with other automation tools such as RPA is desired.

  • Develop scalable data preparation, maintenance, and reporting procedures that can be leveraged by business units and functional areas across the organization

  • Responsible for reviewing requirements, developing technical design, and documenting to-be automated process. This will also include having knowledge of existing workflows to ensure standardized practices are used.

  • Translate business logic from one system (e.g. Excel and SQL) into Alteryx in a quick and accurate manner.

  • Perform end to end data validation to maintain accuracy of data sets

  • Comply with and oversee use of governance practices for automation of business processes to ensure the quality of data, models and outputs

  • Develop re-useable processes that can be leveraged and standardized for multiple instances

  • Manage backlog of open tickets and determine trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Support and optimize the existing applications to meet the business requirements

  • Understand the existing source system data models.

  • Ensure application stability and performance by monitoring existing workflows to ensure they are working correctly and that they reconcile with the source.

  • Communicate task and status updates to team leaders and managers

  • Perform continuous reviews to align technology to process, process improvement, and adherence to standards and best practices

  • Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data evaluation strategies

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to integrate results with existing systems and processes

  • Document and adhere to Sarbanes Oxley Controls

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2 - 4 years of experience with Alteryx

  • Must be able to work independently and as a contributing team member

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

  • Ability to apply multiple complex technical solutions to business problems

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on requirements received.

  • Must be able to meet deadlines set for projects.

  • Working knowledge of root cause analysis

  • Hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and the tools with Alteryx

  • Experience with RPA is preferred.

Technical Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of Windows OS (2008/2012/2016 R2)

  • 2 - 4 years of experience developing MS IIS web applications with .Net and SQL Server

  • 2 - 4 years of experience with object oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, VB, Java, or Python preferred
