ICONMA, LLC Circuit Design Engineer in United States
Our client is seeking a Power Supply Design Engineer for a new design application. The ideal candidate will develop advanced circuit card solutions for power regulation and distribution. Required Skills and Experience:
Experience with complex analog and power circuit card design.
Experience with Power circuit analysis.
Experience with input power filter design and E3 (EMI, EMC, etc.) on advanced electronics for circuit cards.
Design power filter and isolation for MIL-STD-461 for electronics for conducted emission and conduct susceptibility.
Experience with electronic system power consumption and dissipation analysis.
Experience with system grounding and ability to create system level grounding diagram with power isolation.
Experience of CCA integration with testing tools including power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Data Acquisition devices
Ability to perform design trade studies, evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power benefits.
Familiarity or experience with parts and materials selections for CCA designs
Experience capturing flowed and derived requirements for CCA designs.
Experience deriving test requirements for CCA designs including local and system power verification.
Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis.
Experience with Mentor Graphics / Siemens Xpedition or equivalent for schematic capture and layout.
Experience with Mentor Graphics Siemens power integrity analysis.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of design engineers and internal stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with little oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment to meet an aggressive schedule.
Self-starter who can fully engage with other personnel on the program and operate with minimal direct supervision.
Desired Skills:
Experience with MIL-STD-461 testing for electronics in conducted emission and conduct susceptibility.
Experience or familiarity with servo motor control circuit design and analysis.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (STEM) and 8-10 years’ experience
Master’s degree in engineering discipline (STEM) and 6-8 years’ experience
