ICONMA, LLC Circuit Design Engineer in United States

Our client is seeking a Power Supply Design Engineer for a new design application. The ideal candidate will develop advanced circuit card solutions for power regulation and distribution. Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with complex analog and power circuit card design.

  • Experience with Power circuit analysis.

  • Experience with input power filter design and E3 (EMI, EMC, etc.) on advanced electronics for circuit cards.

  • Design power filter and isolation for MIL-STD-461 for electronics for conducted emission and conduct susceptibility.

  • Experience with electronic system power consumption and dissipation analysis.

  • Experience with system grounding and ability to create system level grounding diagram with power isolation.

  • Experience of CCA integration with testing tools including power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Data Acquisition devices

  • Ability to perform design trade studies, evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power benefits.

  • Familiarity or experience with parts and materials selections for CCA designs

  • Experience capturing flowed and derived requirements for CCA designs.

  • Experience deriving test requirements for CCA designs including local and system power verification.

  • Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis.

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics / Siemens Xpedition or equivalent for schematic capture and layout.

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Siemens power integrity analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of design engineers and internal stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with little oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment to meet an aggressive schedule.

  • Self-starter who can fully engage with other personnel on the program and operate with minimal direct supervision.

    Desired Skills:

  • Experience with MIL-STD-461 testing for electronics in conducted emission and conduct susceptibility.

  • Experience or familiarity with servo motor control circuit design and analysis.

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (STEM) and 8-10 years’ experience

  • Master’s degree in engineering discipline (STEM) and 6-8 years’ experience
