United Musculoskeletal Partners Content Development Specialist in United States

DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

The Healthcare Content Development Specialist will be responsible for the development and execution content marketing strategies for UMP and its musculoskeletal practice partners throughout the country. This role will work closely with stakeholders and market leaders to create content that engages existing audiences as well as helps drives patient education and awareness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, target audience and brand identity

  • Create and manage editorial calendar to deliver timely content across various digital platforms

  • Driving brand awareness, engagement and lead generation through strategic content marketing

  • Creating high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing campaigns

  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables

  • Interviewing patients and providers to create content and stories that can be used across multiple channels

  • Developing ad copy for physical and digital marketing assets

  • Stay up-to-date with latest best practices, technology and landscape in digital marketing

  • Manage and maintain content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), and ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or similar field

  • At least 2 years’ experience working as a content developer

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills (particularly technical writing expertise)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience using content management systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Wordpress, CRM systems, Meta, etc.)

  • Healthcare experience is preferred

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to understand audience demographics and create content unique to these audiences

  • Interview and editorial skills

  • Understanding of audience segmentation and demographic targeting

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research tools

  • Strong organization skills to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and work independently in a demanding, dynamic environment

  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to consistently meet deadlines

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills

  • Passion and enthusiasm for marketing as a key growth driver

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Employee may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Employee must occasionally lift, push and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Some travel is required within Atlanta and including occasional out of town meetings/ seminars. Active driver’s license and appropriate car insurance is required. Weekend and evening work is expected.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is typical of a physician’s office.
