The Information Security Architecture team leads and sets the strategy for how security is implemented at Choice Hotels. As a key member and leader in information Security, you will lead a team responsible for the design and implementation of effective and efficient security solutions to protect the organization’s IT assets.

Your Responsibilities
Partner to develop and implement business objectives, security best practices, and long-range strategies
Actively participate in Architecture Governance
Own the strategic architecture for the Security domain
Provide strategic leadership for the information security architecture team, setting goals, and objectives aligned with the overall security and business strategy
Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field, from a four-year college or university. Master’s degree or post graduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure security, security engineering, application security, identity & access management, security operations, software development, software and system architecture, or other relevant security experiences
Proficient in implementing security architectures
Proficiency with one or more security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF or CIS Benchmarks
Demonstrates key competencies such develop talent, builds effective teams, and situational awareness and adaptability
Your Team
This is a leadership role that will report to the Senior Director Information Security. You will have 2 direct reports and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Director, Information Security Architecture, you will be based in either our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, Arizona or our new office in Minneapolis, MN.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ and Minneapolis, MN are working in a hybrid environment, working three days per week in the office and working virtually the remaining day. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
