Position Summary:
The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
The Educational Developer Level I will work directly with faculty and staff as part of the Coulter Faculty Commons team to provide consultations, workshops, and events that support the improvement of teaching and learning excellence in keeping with the University’s mission and strategic goals. This position will also provide services as assigned to the Coulter Faculty Commons to support the CFC mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Master’s Degree from an appropriately accredited university required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited institution with relevant coursework preferred. A combination of coursework and experience in one or more of the following areas: Instructional Design, Instructional technology, Educational Development, Teaching and Learning, Higher Education, Adult Education, and/or other related degree/s or coursework. Experience working within higher education.
Also preferred are the following: demonstrated skill and experience with design and implementation of evidence-based, creative, active online and technology-enhanced or technology-dependent instruction. Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others to explore and realize their pedagogical and scholarly goals.
