Avania is hiring - Executive Director, Business Development

Continued growth of our corporate capabilities and geographical footprint through M&A, creates the need to hire an additional Senior Business Development professional in the role of Executive Director, Business Development .

The key appointment of an Executive Director, Business Development, will drive top-line revenue growth as well as providing senior leadership and strategic go to market strategies. This role will build relationships with MedTech executives, globally, to develop and close business. Acting as a strategic partner and advisor for our clients, the Executive Director, Business Development will seek to understand our clients specific pain points and needs with strong capabilities to present the best solution for their unique circumstances.

This role will require prospecting, solution development, SOW finalization, and successful transition to implementation

We seek -

  • An experienced and proven Senior Business Development professional in the CRO space who understands how to develop new revenue opportunities with MedTech companies; developing and executing an annual strategic business plan to drive new top-line revenue and sales growth of commercialization services as measured by sales bookings

  • A successful track record of building relationships with target sectors - MedTech & Top 100 OEM (especially at the C-suite, senior executive and procurement levels) and leveraging these relationships to generate new business opportunities.

  • Successful candidates will demonstrate critical thinking, deep industry knowledge to develop effective and successful new business and account strategies to deliver on and consistently out-perform predefined sales targets year over year.
