Friends University FY25 - Media & Communications Coordinator in United States
Social media scheduling, coordinating, and creation for Campus Ministries including weekly chapel, SLA events, and SLC opportunities.
Work with chapel team for slide design – announcements and other media.
Create content for communications for various e-newsletters, campus-wide emails, and external promotion.
Regularly photograph or coordinate photography of CM events for promotion and social media.
Assist in creating and designing promotional materials such as t-shirts, chapel posters, etc.
Collaborate with other campus clubs and organizations for joint promotion of events/opportunities.
Organization: Ability to manage logistics, schedules, and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure that proper dates, information, and grammar are used consistently.
Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with other students and staff members to achieve common goals.
Flexibility: Adaptability to handle unexpected situations or last-minute changes during with grace and composure.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact warmly and respectfully with diverse individuals and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards others.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with word processing software, social media platforms, or strong adaptability to learn new technology.
Reliability: Dependability and punctuality to fulfill assigned responsibilities and commitments consistently.

Must be available for a weekly meeting with the Campus Ministries staff and for chapel at 11am on Thursdays.
