ICONMA, LLC Inspector III – A in United States

Description: Identify quality problems and recommend solutions. Calibrate, validate, or maintain equipment. Write or revise standard quality control operating procedures. Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved. Perform visual inspections of finished products. Receive and inspect raw materials. Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols. Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. Qualifications: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components. Superior blue print reading skills. Excellent communication skills. Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work. Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components. Familiar with the use of personal computers. Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates Desired Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space! 5 years of minimum experience inspecting aerospace components precision hand Tools, Articulating Romer ARM and/or CMMs Troubleshooting, Root cause and corrective action analysis experience Understand the department KPI’s metrics to improve performance. Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-2018 standard. Strong communication skills with a heavy customer focus Must have a continuous improvement attitude. Clear understanding of production versus development environments Familiar with use of personal computers Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Overview of the project this resource would be working on and what the day-to-day activities would look like Laser tracker, gdnt, machined parts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform daily part inspection using state of the art Hexagon Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) Using PC-DMIS software to Program and Parsec for FAI data collections. In-depth knowledge of GD&T Perform manual inspections Knowledge and utilization of nonconformance processes. Large of a team are they working on 30 inspectors What does training for this role look like (if any) On machine training, process type inspection, software training. Programs, technologies, and certifications that are useful for them to already know? Are there any must-have skills GDNT, aerospace drawing, blueprint reading, software that runs measurement systems, CMM, farrow arm tracker. Having CNC machining experience is also helpful. Requirements:

  • MS Suite, communication, team player, note keeping is very helpful.

  • 10 years in aerospace, 8-10 in inspection, 5+ years laser tracker – 3d measurement experience.

  • HS diploma, anything above would be excellent but not required.
