What we're looking for:

You should have Hands-on experience managing Jira & Atlassian Suite. You should have Strong analytical skills. Experience building, managing and enforcing standards. Effectively priorities work, troubleshoots issues, communicates, and completes tasks on time.

Position Overview

Your responsibility will include Configure, maintain and upgrade Atlassian JIRA/Confluence platform. Support, compile and troubleshoot Atlassian tools, Design custom JIRA workflows. In addition you will Plan, evaluate, deploy, operate and maintain tools to suit the expanding user-base. Troubleshooting and fixing errors common to Applications and Application servers

Roles & Resposibilies

  • Perform design, development, page and workflow creation, user permission, folder strategy, etc

  • Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement

  • Examination of office processes, document/records management, user training

  • Maintenance tasks as required to mature and grow the Suite

  • A strong desire to avoid doing the exact same thing the next time, by improving processes or documentation

  • Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs.

  • Ensure data and project cleanliness.

  • Research and utilize industry standard methods and techniques.

  • Work with Jira filters, workflows, and fields.

  • Build filters, custom dashboards, and reports.

  • Install, configure, test, and manage integrations and plug-ins.

  • Train new staff on Jira and navigating our projects and spaces.

Basic Qualification

  • Required Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience performing Jira implementations including workflow configuration, schema configuration, and JQL.

  • Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs

  • Experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations, and plugin installation

  • An Atlassian Certification in JIRA Project Administration

  • Good communication skills

  • Knowledge of scripting language(s) such as JavaScript or Python optional*.

  • Working experience in a global environment with teams located in multiple regions.

  • Adaptive Communication

  • Analytical thinking

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience and understanding of Project Management Methodologies.

  • Knowledge of database design and PL/SQL scripting

  • Experience in troubleshooting enterprise incidents/outages using monitoring tools to provide feedback to service owners regarding abnormal trends in monitoring like high response time, latency in DB query time etc.

  • Degree in the field of computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent.

  • IT certification (ITIL) or equivalent is preferable

  • SAFe certifications, experience, or strong knowledge is preferred

  • Adaptability of new monitoring tools and platform
