Defense Logistics Agency Management and Program Analyst in United States

Position may be filled at any of the below locations Louisville, KY: $103,409 - $134,435 St. Louis, MO: $105,896 - $137,669 Gainesville, VA: $117,962 - $ 153,354 Responsibilities Responsible for developing, evaluating and ensuring implementation of training and technical concepts, policies and procedures for specialized planning, programming, budgeting and execution support. Ensuring that all proposed initiatives, requirements or changes to the budget plans are consistent with short-, mid, and long-range objectives and goals. Prepares financial documents and coordinates with internal and external entities to ensure obligation and expenditure of funds. Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies Department of Defense (DoD) and other legal and regulatory requirements. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of financial management assignments related to the receipt, disbursement, accounting for, and safeguarding of funds. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Prepares financial documents and coordinates with internal and external entities to ensure obligation and expenditure of funds. Coordinates with DFAS, DLA and other activities to resolve ensure proper payment of invoices and ensure proper expenditure of funds. Providing fiscal oversight, analysis, and advisory services for the operational budget and both appropriated (APF) and Reimbursable fund activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
