What we're looking for:
The Manager, Digital Inside Sales is responsible for managing a team of tele-sales professionals to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals and generate sales pipeline for all Citrix solutions and product lines. The Manager, Digital Inside Sales understands Citrix's overall go-to-market model and is familiar with the Channel Partners and Customers in their sales region. This individual is responsible for overseeing that their team is effectively generating, supporting and advancing the sales opportunities of their assigned area including effective working relationships with internal Citrix resources and the Channel. The Manager, Digital Inside Sales is also responsible for driving the professional development of their sales staff including mentorship, training and performance evaluation. The position requires the ability to multi-task between team members in their support of various customers, partners, sales opportunities, and other initiatives.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Monitors sales rep productivity in support of their account and territory development. Leverages Scorecard to track KPIs and growth
Leads the Inside Sales team in following sales methodology and best practices including effectively using Salesforce.com
Provides ongoing mentorship to sales reps to teach appropriate prospecting techniques, key account management, and general account maintenance.
Meets regularly with each rep to review: sales call activity, lead follow up, account reviews, prospecting and performance, competitive losses/wins, personnel issues and personal/professional developmental opportunities.
Assesses skill sets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to meet objectives, reinforce sales methodology and provide guidance on career path direction. Implements personal development plans for individual team members.
Guides sales reps on how to manage key relationships in the Channel and work closely with the Field and other internal Citrix resources
Acts as a point of escalation for customers and channel partners and assists inside sales strategies.
Provides direction and expertise to sales reps and participate in cross-selling initiatives
Manages appropriate pipeline and forecast and ensures accurately reflected in Salesforce.com; is aware of all top deals in their area and can provide details on status and close plan.
Ability to work with sales reps to assess customer challenges, identify and address problem areas, formulate relevant solutions and present the solution effectively
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Experience in inside sales telesales environment with complex technical business solutions and a strong understanding of business drivers for line of Business solutions
Self-motivation, self-management and professionalism with advanced organizational, negotiation, problem solving skills and team building skills.
Possesses high level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of Citrix competitive domain and technologies.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as, excellent presentation skills. Has ability to lead meetings internally and externally including executive briefings.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations when necessary
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
2-3 years management experience leading a B2B or manage discreet quota carrying sales teams or 5+ years’ experience in a B2B or have been a discreet quota carrying sales person for 5 to 7 years in the technology industry
4 year college degree or equivalent industry experience
Proven ability to lead high performance sales organization
Experience selling in two-tier partner models with proven success in channel sales
Cloud or software sales a plus
Knowledge of Citrix and/or Citrix Certifications, a plus
