The role of the Sales Analyst - MSA is to lead the adoption and integration of MSA data. The new position will play an integral role in unlocking MSA data to bring actionable insights to the convenience channel. The primary responsibilities will include sales and operational analytics, data governance, and measurement and tracking. This role will partner closely with sales, customer insights & analytics, and sales operations in order to leverage the data to accelerate growth. In addition, the position will serve as the business lead and primary point of contact for our external business partners at MSA.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Drive action-oriented insights on distribution, innovation, and brand growth imperatives through MSA data

  • Unlock store and retailer level data to serve as foundation for sales and operational execution

  • Compile, analyze, and report MSA sales data

  • Provide critical business updates, diagnostics, and actionable insights

  • Develop MSA Dashboard reports and scorecards to be leveraged by our sales, insights, and cross functional partners

  • Provide measurement & tracking for convenience retailers (non-Nielsen customers)

  • Create custom / ad hoc analysis to support the execution of the business

  • Track and reconciliate inventory to assist with sales forecasting

  • Ensures integrity of MSA data

  • Manages category and SKU hierarchies and maintenance

  • Manager customer hierarchies and territory maintenance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years analytics experience

  • Knowledge and experience with syndicated data (MSA experience preferred)

  • Strong proficiency in microsoft excel and powerpoint (Expert level excel preferred)

  • Experience with data governance and strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills. Ability to work in a team environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of convenience channel and distributor network preferred

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,500 to $128,300; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and several others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
