Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Organization Development Consultant - OCM Practitioner to work in our Learning and Organization Development department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our REC facility with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities are available for this position.

The Laboratory is looking to establish a Change Management Office (OCM) to better facilitate ongoing and upcoming changes. Support the implementation of specific large-scale change management initiatives that link to the laboratory’s strategic objectives by enhancing employee adoption and engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work collaboratively to enhance the laboratory’s overall proficiency in managing change by establishing a consistent change management approach, coaching laboratory leadership to sponsor change, and developing tools and resources that can be used to support and reinforce best practices.

  • Proactively identify, promote, and develop CM plans and new project opportunities to integrate sound change management practices across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s and 12 years experience or Master’s degree and 8 years experience. Degree in a relevant discipline required.

  • 3 or more years of experience in organizational change management in a lead or support role.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform and oversee successful cross-functional change initiatives.

  • Demonstrated commitment and success working on multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects.

  • Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering presentations to management.

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a wide variety of staff with different skill sets, levels, and styles.

    Preferred

  • Advanced degrees in I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior/Organizational Development, Organizational Communications, MBA with Organizational Development concentration, or Leadership and Organizational Development.

  • Complete understanding and demonstrated application of change management, as well as organization development principles, concepts, and practices.
