Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Luverne, MN Duration: 10 weeks Description: Inpatient and outpatient general rural practice physical therapy Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 25 bed critical access hospital. Also outpatient department. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Department and hospital tour. Documentation training. Orientation to department specific equipment. Other orientation as needed based on skills and comfort level. PT staff available for assistance and questions. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Inpatient and outpatient general rural practice physical therapy. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Epic documentation. Blood flow restriction. Ultrasound/E-stim. Ionto. General therapy equipment Required skills and minimum years of experience. General physical therapy skills Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS. MN PTA licensure. IA PTA licensure would be a bonus.
