What we're looking for:

The core role of Procurement Contracts Analyst (PCA) is to review, manage and execute tactical supplier contract requests in a timely manner as part of Procurement’s Guided Buying process. The chosen candidate will apply their expertise in accordance with Citrix supplier contracting guidelines to ensure that the most expedient buying vehicle is executed, which meets Citrix commercial and supply risk mitigation criteria.

Position Overview

Working as part of a small team, you will receive intake requests direct from business users globally across Citrix, assignments from Category Manager contracts plans, as well as escalations from other Procurement Ops teams. By engaging business users, suppliers, category managers and support teams where needed (including Legal Compliance, Risk, Security, Accounting, Tax & Treasury, Payables and Vendor Management teams), the PCA will ensure the appropriate level of scrutiny is applied to contractual documents for tactical purchases, whether drafted on standard Citrix contracting templates or supplier paper.

The PCA will also be responsible for swift and accurate processing of other contract-related correspondence, including amendments, addendums, change order, notices and terminations, ensuring that at all times the appropriate follow-on activities are carried out (i.e. updating all related transactions in supplier contract database, ensuring vendor master records are blocked or marked for deletion, ensuring delivery of notice is accurately documented).

The PCA will be responsible for coordinating follow-on activities post-contract, including where necessary new vendor onboarding, purchase requisitions, contract database administration and maintenance, working with other colleagues in the Guided Buying team.

The PCA will ensure that all contractual documentation is appropriately documented and stored in the supplier contracts database. The PCA will participate in periodic clean-up and process improvement activities, as well as ensuring that both internal and user-facing contracting guidance is kept up-to-date, based on the outcomes of specific use cases.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Review and administer agreements in alignment with Procurement and category-specific guidelines

  • Negotiate tactical agreements in accordance with Procurement guidelines

  • Negotiate contracts, statements of work, pricing, and other terms as appropriate to optimize value for Citrix.

  • Execute amendments, addendums, letters of notice, and other contract-related correspondence

  • Ensure that the supplier contracts database is kept up to date

  • Support the team manager in maintaining up-to-date process guidelines and documentation

  • Manage and handle escalations in the contracting process appropriately

  • Ensure SME input is obtained throughout the process (e.g. data privacy, finance, tax, customs, security, and other subject matter experts)

  • Ensure agreements are executed according to company policies

  • Develop and maintain guidance for business users

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop Procurement process excellence


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4-6 years related experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of contract review principles and legal terminology

  • Proven capability to create, facilitate and negotiate contract terms
