Job Description
The Program Aide, under general supervision, provides standard program support and assists the director of the program. The Program Assistant will be the lead student supervisor over the panther pride student worker counselors and will help with the supervision of the Panther Pride students.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with the oversight of the freshmen summer bridge program students.
Provide health and wellness checks, classroom checks, assist with workshops and activities, campus safety, and the supervision of study halls.
Provide administrative assistance to the director of the program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
No prior work experience required.
Current PVAMU Senior with a 3.0 or higher. Students enrolled in summer courses full-time are not eligible for temporary full-time employment.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Verbal and written communication skills.
