What we want
The Program Coordinator – Mays Graduate Admissions Processing, under general supervision, is responsible for coordinating application processing for the Executive, Professional, Full-time, and other MBA programs within Mays Business School. This position will also support the recruiting and admissions experience by triaging MBA applications, aiding Master’s programs in app processing, communicating with prospective students, and working with program directors and the admissions team to gather data for program rankings and inquiries. What you need to know
Salary: $45,000 - $50,000; commensurate to selected hire’s experience .

Essential Duties/Tasks
Applications Processing Coordination - Coordinates application processing, for all applications for Executive, Professional, Full-time, and other MBA programs. Coordinates with other MS programs in Mays Business School, to transition data from our application system into the Texas A&M University system. Coordinates submissions and reviews accuracy of changes in program applications. Reviews and triages MBA applications to determine how admissions will move forward with the review process. Reports data and compiles statistics for Admissions and Recruiting reports, various MBA rankings, and accreditation reports.
Administration and Planning - A ssists in the strategic planning of recruiting and admissions efforts based on department goals. Understands the timelines and planning of admissions processing and assists with the evaluation of prospective changes on our recruiting efforts. Coordinates processes for reporting and tracking graduate application history, allowing our office to evaluate progress in application statuses. Serves as the point of contact for Business CAS, working with our liaison on system updates, difficulties, and suggestions for improvement. Assists with event planning for on-campus events to enhance the recruitment of MBA prospective students. Gathers and compiles feedback about student experiences with application processing, working in the Howdy Portal, and the general admissions process overall.
Collaboration - Coordinate the Graduate Programs Monthly Admissions meeting, including creating agendas, and maintaining the calendar. Supervises and trains student workers in application processing, Concur reporting, and GPA calculations. Serves as a main contact for prospective students with questions about successful application completion and general inquiries. Escalates complex inquiries as needed. Coordinates MBA "Welcome packages" to admitted students.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Two years of office administration or related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, psychology, or related field
Master's degree.
Experience in admissions, recruiting, sales, marketing, or event planning.
Experience using Salesforce, Compass, CAS application systems, or CRMs.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while using sound judgment to re prioritize as needed.
Exceptional skills of emotional intelligence, conflict management, communication, organization, initiative, customer service, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
