Service Engineer

Help us drive energy transformation on a production basis, performing moderate mechanical assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Assembling structures according to engineering specifications, utilizing hand tools and portable power tools.
Hexagon Agility is a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions in the transport sector. Our technology enables hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our local operations team. Duties and responsibilities
Program manage the remanufacture of systems for CPO and customers.
Research applicable components as necessary
Work with operations team to get work complete
Coordinate timing, quotes and PO’s with customers
Lead the development of parts catalogs
Supervise a CAD designer who generates catalogs
Verify it is done in accordance with standards including the release of service specific part numbers
Work with product engineering to transition to a more modern automated approach to S-boms and parts catalogs
Lead the evolution from the current heavily manpower dependent catalog development process to one which is more closely integrated and automated with design systems.
Release Service kits to facilitate better offerings to customers
Interface with design engineering to be the conduit of coming design changes and new product releases
Lead the development of service part solutions for legacy products
Research the legacy product
Determine applicability of service solutions
Develop special integration parts as necessary
Required Experience/Knowledge
Physical requirements include the focus and ability to perform any of the work involved in the design and building of alternative fuel systems including installation, diagnosis and repair.
Experience in alternative fueled vehicle fuel systems is a strong benefit
Comfortable working in a fast paced, low volume niche product environment
Proficient in 3D CAD design software review, design capability a benefit
Proficient in ERP required, IFS experience a benefit
Qualifications
Degree Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering
Certification Requirements: NA
Previous Experience: 5 Years
Travel Requirements: 20%
On Call Requirements: 20%
