Location: East Syracuse
Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
No $17.79-$20.67/hour DOE

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive employee to facilitate an on-going regulatory compliance and quality improvement program for all Agency departments.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain knowledge of Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) 624 regulations and conduct incident investigations as assigned.
Maintain knowledge of Office of Mental Health (OMH) 524 regulations and conduct incident investigations as assigned
Conduct regularly scheduled program audits
Assist with writing Plan Of Corrective Action (POCA) in conjunction with applicable Program Director in the event of an audit Statement of Deficiencies as directed by Quality Enhancement Director
Organize applicable regulations and make them accessible to program staff as a resource. Act as a resource to program staff re: applicable regulations
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human service field plus one year experience with people with disabilities or Associates degree in human service field plus two years’ experience with people with disabilities preferred. Minimum three years working with people with disabilities may be substituted for education. Basic word processing and e-mail skills are required. At least one year of experience working in an OPWDD regulated program is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic computer skills, including word processing and e-mail skills are required. Knowledge of OPWDD services preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Must be able to demonstrate teamwork and professionalism. Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s license and have transportation necessary to meet departmental needs. Must maintain CPR, First Aid, SCIP-R and OPWDD core curriculum instructor certification. Must have flexible schedule able to accommodate occasional early morning, evening or weekend commitments.
