ModMed (https://www.modmed.com/company/) is hiring a driven Regional Sales Manager to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Sales team. You'll manage the sales process for ModMed's revolutionary suite of software solutions, including Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), Practice Management, Analytics, and Telehealth™ within net-new, strategic accounts. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for cultivating new relationships and executing a strategic sales process within one of our specialties. This role focuses on new business development from small to large-size specialty practices through relationships built with C-level healthcare executives and physicians.

Your Role:

  • Define and execute territory sales plans and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned geographic territory

  • Proactively cultivate and develop relationships with mid-sized medical practices to identify, qualify and develop quality sales opportunities as part of the sales team focusing on net new business

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently close business within assigned specialty, territory, and segment

  • Manage sales cycles from lead to close, including quote creation and contract negotiations

  • Utilize consultative selling skills to build trusted relationships with prospective customers

  • Complete remote and onsite software demonstrations of our suite of solutions with the assistance of sales solution engineers

  • Leverage internal resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering

  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales

  • Ensure data integrity and accurate forecasting by entering and maintaining accurate and useful customer data, including customer contact information and interactions in our Salesforce CRM software

  • Develop strong product and industry knowledge to demo ModMed's products to prospective clients effectively

  • Actively participate in industry-relevant trade shows

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and manage an east-coast territory

  • 5+ years experience in healthcare-related software full-cyle sales with a consistent track record of successful revenue attainment

  • Experience selling SaaS, Cloud, or software-based solutions into new accounts

  • EMR/Healthcare, Practice Management or RCM Software sales experience strongly preferred

  • Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners

  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively

  • Consultative selling, pipeline management & negotiating skills

  • Ability to engage prospective clients through product demonstrations

  • Ability to quickly learn the medical specialty you are selling into

  • Ability to flex and adapt to different situations

  • Professional and engaging communication and presentation skills

  • Driven, competitive and goal-oriented

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
