What we're looking for:

You are a curious, motivated and passionate Operations Senior Analyst who has a preferred 3 to 5+ years of experience. Analyst you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of projects to enhance and improve the systems used by the Supply Chain department as business needs evolve

Position summary:

As the SCM Operations Senior Analyst you will work closely with business stakeholders within the Operations, Finance and Accounting departments globally to identify issues impacting overall productivity using a data-driven approach and continuous improvement mindset. You will focus on a hybrid mix of data analysis and project management of system enhancements. Additionally, you will partner with IT to drive the development and release of solutions for the department and be responsible for solution design review, coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing, planning and executing go-live activities and providing post go-live support during projects. You will also responsible for triage and analysis of production support issues, as well as, monitoring and sustaining service level commitments for the availability of critical applications.

Roles& Responsibility:

  • Elicit, translate and communicate business and system requirements effectively from SMEs within functional areas and supporting departments.

  • Write clear, complete business requirements documentation, including support for related developments. Effectively translate business requirements into high-level design documentation with supervision.

  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

  • Utilize past experience and knowledge of sales, service and distribution to recommend appropriate business process solutions to new business and system requirements.

  • Perform root cause analysis of identified issues by gathering relevant data/information and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Manage own time and deadlines appropriately. Accurately determine task duration and dependencies for own assignments to balance overall portfolio. Communicate status updates to manager on a regular basis.

  • Lead coverage, execution, and remediation of test activities including identifying scenarios relevant for the business/system change (e.g., unit, integration, user acceptance).

  • Prioritize assigned issues based on business impact. Troubleshoot and identify root cause of production support issues within established SLA parameter.

  • Determine potential impact to data and systems resulting from projects, enhancements, and production support. Analyze change requests and determine appropriate solutions. Support the deployment of production systems and provide post-production support.

  • Define success criteria and provide measurable results upon completion of initiatives.

  • Support the development and delivery of training materials for business process and/or system changes.

  • Apply project life cycle methodology across assigned processes and systems including project plan creation and management.

  • Independently complete project documentation and work with business to gain approval.

  • Identify operational reporting solutions using appropriate data sources and business intelligence tools. Translate disparate internal data sources into a single source data set that is easily reportable.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Required Bachelor or equivalent Degree

  • 5 + Years of experience of SAP and SalesForce (SAP Hybris experience preferred)

  • Experience working with SQL preferred

  • Working knowledge of relational database, logical and physical modeling, integration concepts and methods, ERP systems, business intelligence, and web technologies, or the desire to learn

  • Hands on experience with analytical troubleshooting of processes and system issues.

  • Experience working directly with functional and technical resources in a collaborative environment to drive tasks to closure.

  • Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support

  • Must have experience influencing business leaders and peers about the proper use of standard system functionality and business process flows

  • Solid understanding of data quality issues and ability to recommend best practices for ensuring / validating data quality

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be a good team player and group motivator.

  • Excellent written and communication skills coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the company.

  • Ability to participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and other productivity tools

  • Must be responsive and deadline-oriented with a sense of urgency

  • In-depth knowledge and application of project management methodologies

  • Ability to develop user acceptance test data, scripts, and plans

  • Ability to develop system test data, scripts, and plans

  • Ability to create process flow diagrams

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst / Project Lead managing delivery of information technology and process improvement solutions

  • Previous experience in a highly analytical environment

  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data

  • Able to support extended hours of operation (long hours, weekends and holidays) during project deployments and month-end

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience
