About the Role

We are actively seeking a Senior Commercial Innovation Consultant with a keen eye for technology and a proven pedigree in sales or working in an (innovation) consulting practice with it’s own billing ability within the Americas. Situated within the Global Solutions Sales Team, this pivotal role demands a blend of consultancy acumen and strategic sales prowess to propel our organisation to unprecedented levels of success. Your mandate will encompass not only the art of winning new business but also the science of cultivating and expanding our existing clientele, armed with your expertise in the Innovation Management Ecosystem.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions, you'll master the full spectrum of the sales process, from pioneering lead generation techniques to forging lasting client relationships, all while providing expert consultation on our suite of innovation solutions. Your role is critical in steering potential clients through the intricate maze of the Enterprise SaaS market, converting opportunities into victories for our organisation .

Your Impact

  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Elevate our business by harnessing a variety of channels for lead generation, including outbound, networking, and partnerships, transforming these leads into tangible opportunities and, ultimately, successful deals.

  • Consultive Sales approach: Dive deep into the nuances of the company’s Eco-system Product suite, offering consulting influenced sales that aligns our innovation solutions with the business strategies of our prospects.

  • Client and Partner Engagement: As the face of company’s, extend your consultancy prowess beyond the initial sale, acting as a key account manager and a strategic advisor to nurture and expand our client and partner base.

  • Collaborative Synergy: Foster a seamless, unified front with pre-sales and customer success teams, ensuring a synergistic approach to meeting and exceeding our business goals.

  • Ensure the ultimate CX: The Customer experience is often more important than price or product. It will be your responsibility for the prospective client to have the ultimate smooth customer experience from first contact with you onwards.

About You

  • Educational & Professional Background: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, or a related field is required, with an MBA being a strong advantage. A background in innovation consulting in combination with Sales within the Enterprise SaaS sector is a notable plus.

  • Experience: At least 6 years of sales experience, with a demonstrated track record in meeting sales quotas. Previous experience as an Innovation Consultant is highly desirable.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent English is mandatory, with Spanish fluency as a valuable asset, enhancing our engagement with a broader spectrum of clients and partners.

  • Sales and Technological Acumen: Your strategic sales techniques, coupled with your hands-on experience in innovation management and related technology sales, will be the cornerstone of your success.

  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Your proficiency in technology, CRM utilization, and leadership over client leads, opportunities and accounts will set you apart.

  • Adaptability & Commitment: Your flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and willingness to go beyond the standard work hours are key. This role offers flexibility but demands a commitment to excellence and growth.
