As the Senior Director of National Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our wholesale channel across various retailers. Your primary focus will be fostering key account relationships, enhancing market share, and achieving annual net budgets profitability. Reporting into the VP of North America Sales, you'll spearhead OMNI channel management initiatives to elevate Living proof's financial performance. This is a fully remote role with expectation to travel 25%.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of two to meet monthly and annual budget targets for the North America wholesale channel through meticulous P&L management, encompassing gross to net shipments and operating expenses. Ensure timely launch cadence aligned with retail and gross sales objectives.

  • Cultivate and maintain key account relationships, overseeing negotiation of marketing activations and financial budgets. Serve as a liaison between retailer cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution across all touchpoints. Foster strong partnerships with merchant, marketing, education, and planning teams at key retailers.

  • Develop comprehensive retail sales strategies spanning two to three years, in collaboration with marketing and finance teams, to drive company objectives and achieve sustainable year-over-year growth.

  • Ensure Visual Merchandising adheres to brand standards and supports retail sales objectives and productivity targets, securing favorable long-term space and placement. Recommend data-driven SKU optimizations to boost sales and enhance SKU productivity, collaborating with creative, trade, and brand marketing teams.

  • Craft OMNI Channel Retail Sales Plans aligned with marketing calendars and launch priorities. Collaborate closely with the Sell Thru Field Team and Trade Marketing team to meticulously plan and flawlessly execute strategies, maintaining seamless communication throughout.

  • Spearhead OMNI channel-specific market plans, executing top-tier retail strategies to drive robust comp revenue and fuel growth, while aggressively pursuing sales goals and expanding market share

  • Partner with Trade and brand marketing teams to develop annual marketing calendars and market decks.

  • Ensure monthly delivery of accurate bottom-up forecasts by the planner, providing concise summaries for monthly executive review. Recap results across key categories (pipe, core, promo, and innovation) monthly.

  • Provide support for the development and execution of a seamless OMNI channel strategy, collaborating with sell-thru and event teams on event strategies and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in sales and account management within the beauty industry, with a focus on wholesale channels

  • Proven track record of successfully managing national retail accounts and driving profitable growth.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex agreements and financial terms.

  • Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in effectively managing and developing high-performing teams. Strategic thinker with the capacity to develop and implement comprehensive retail sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Proficient in financial analysis, including P&L management and forecasting.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Experience in OMNI channel management and retail marketing strategies is highly desirable.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
