What we're looking for:You have a desire to be a Scrum Master / Scrum Leader and guardian of scrum teams. You will be a Scrum Master / Scrum Leader that resolves impediments and have influence over the agile processes. You will contribute toward coaching teams about agile scrum, facilitate the scrum/SAFe ceremonies, and enable teams to release potentially shippable software. If you have an educational background in IT & would like to work as a scrum master, we’d love to speak with you!Position Overview:As a Senior Scrum Master at Citrix you will be Scrum Leader for 1-2 teams and also act as an agile coach for scrum teams – driving collaboration & team-work and removing impediments while exemplifying project management skills. You value delivery flow and are a strategic thinker/servant-leader who believes in building high-performing teams.Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote Agile values, principles and practices within the teams

  • Drive and own responsibilities of Scrum Master / Scrum Leader for multiple software development teams

  • Schedule, manage, and facilitate Scrum ceremonies - Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Review, Sprint Retrospective

  • Facilitate meetings and communication between product owner stakeholders and development team members to ensure the highest value work is top priority in the backlog

  • Facilitate collaboration on a daily basis to remove impediments and reduce risk

  • Grow Agile maturity within development team members as well as product owners, scaling best practices

  • Foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the team

  • Build information radiators to ensure proper visibility and transparency between development teams, stakeholders, and the org

  • Manage development team backlog, work prioritization, assignment, and tracking in Jira

  • Create, manage and publish team metrics and reporting from Jira

  • Assist in the administration of Jira

  • Scrum team resources management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

  • 4+ years of experience working directly with software development teams

  • 4+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master across multiple cross-functional teams

  • Understanding of Agile values, principles, as well as Scrum framework

  • Excellent facilitation, conflict mediation, and situational awareness skills

  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile Scrum Certification (i.e. SAFe SSM, CSM, PMP-ACP, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of Jira administration

  • Experience working and managing Atlassian suite tools

  • Knowledge of Kanban framework

  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
