Position Overview:

The Senior Talent Management Consultant (Engagement Manager) role requires an individual with a broad skill set, including development, design and delivery of key talent management initiatives. This may include organizational design, leadership development, coaching, employee engagement, assessments, and change management.

This individual designs, implements, and manages talent solutions engagements for large scale, strategic client projects that consistently exceed client expectations with optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The Senior TMC, Engagement Manager, will gather and evaluate analytics around talent management to work with clients to identify and link workforce strategy to the business strategy. They will be responsible for winning business through design and presentation of proposed solutions, articulating business ROI, and building trusting relationships with client partners. This individual will design initiatives that support the strategy, lead project teams, and deliver solutions as an individual contributor.

The Senior TMC, Engagement Manager, should bring the latest thinking to the above-mentioned areas of talent management and have an interest in continuous learning. It is also important that he/she has maintained their business connections and community connections to stay current on best practices and have a broad perspective of what other companies are doing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leading a project team to assess, design, deliver and evaluate client projects; coaches and manages team and individual performance to attain and exceed goals.

• Building strong relationships at senior levels within client organizations, including the C-suite, in order to understand their business context and perspective to diagnose, design and ensure delivery quality consulting solutions and develop strong credibility as a service provider.

• Expanding relationships upward and across client organization to enhance client trust

• Maintaining oversight of multiple engagements within client organization

• Collaborating with Sales team to demonstrate capabilities and develop new business opportunities contributing to the overall achievement of the regional and group plan.

• Serving as a thought leader supporting colleagues, clients, and in the industry to position Right Management as the leading global provider of workforce solutions.

Requirements:

• 10 years Talent Management/Organizational Consulting experience, consulting experience in a mid-sized to large organization as a consultant (external consulting firm strongly preferred).

• Consulting and facilitator experience in areas such as Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Competency Modeling, Assessments, Leadership Coaching, Performance Management, Change Management, Workforce Alignment, and Employee Engagement.

• Experience supporting commercial efforts, including lead generation, writing proposals, providing subject matter expertise to RFPs, pitching to clients, and functioning as a SME to sales team.

• A consultative, solutions mindset to winning business and developing individual solutions to meet the specific business needs of our clients

• Business Acumen and Organizational Savvy

• Ongoing ability to leverage relationships and generate dialogue with clients regarding delivering business results.

• Experience delivering to senior level executives.

• Capacity and motivation to work in a collaborative team environment with highly competent peers required

• Strong Assessment experience with widely recognized normed assessment instruments such as Hogan, EQ-i, and 360 Assessment.

Nice to have:

• Global client experience a plus.

• Ph.D. and/or Master’s degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology or Organizational Development area, required.
