Position Overview

The Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Mexico and Northern Latin America (NOLA) will drive our Marketing and Communication strategy in those regions. They will be responsible for all Marketing and Communication aspects in Mexico and NOLA, from planning and budgeting, to execution and measurement. This position will lead the areas' in-country marketing resources while reporting into the Americas Marketing organization based in the United States and will also have strong dotted line reporting into the regional Country Directors.

Responsible for the planning, development and execution of all enterprise-focused marketing programs to increase the effectiveness of field sales in growing their business. Responsible for lead generation and awareness programs targeting prospects and customers in the region. Create and execute the marketing plan, program management, analysis, tracking and reporting for field marketing initiatives across the geographic region.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Citrix Regional sales management team to define regional marketing goals and objectives in order to develop regional marketing plan that aligns with sales goals

  • Create a marketing plan that maps to regional budget

  • Incorporate market research as part of regional program strategy and planning

  • Execute and manage regional marketing programs (email, direct mail, online, events)

  • Manage vendors & develop and manage online, print & radio advertising campaign strategy for region

  • Align regional channel & end-user quarterly program strategy to ensure that regional messaging is consistent

  • Responsible for supporting local PR (Public Relations) initiatives; support the development of local press releases, customer references, and case studies

  • Drive regional joint Citrix/partner (Microsoft, Google, et al) marketing programs

  • Manage regional seminars and events to include strategy, production, implementation, execution, and measurement, working closely with the Americas Marketing Integrated Team for leverage

  • Have the ability and space to work from a home-based office including high-speed internet sufficient to hold video conferences and a full day of workload

  • Responsible for management and distribution of the event property regional inventory. Leverage the Americas properties, signage and demos

  • Drive content, demos and messaging for regional events

  • Manage pre & post event activities, including measurement of program effectiveness to improve ROI

  • Identify and secure speakers/staff for events

  • Manage vendors for logistics, content, collateral, and promotional items

  • Perform onsite event coordination, when appropriate

  • Responsible for the maintenance of the regional events and programs calendar

  • Responsible for management and administration of purchase orders, budget, and ROI reporting

  • Responsible for lead processing, submission, and tracking for all regional programs regardless of source

  • Be the “go-to” marketing resource for the region

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to understand a variety of technologies and cross-partnerships within the industry

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to work effectively across functional areas/departments

  • Proven ability to work well with all levels of management and peers. Close attention to detail with emphasis on meeting critical deadlines

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related degree; Master’s degree is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good organizational skills, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and is excellent at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions

  • 8+ years industry experience in B2B technology

  • Ability to influence and manage peers (and often senior colleagues) in a virtual environment to produce deliverables on-time

  • Ability to understand holistic marketing view beyond program execution, including sales readiness, communications, lead management, and created pipeline

  • Can manage large projects or processes that may span outside immediate job area with limited oversight

  • Strong project management abilities and follow-through

  • Regional to Global experience and transnational sensitivity

  • Excellent understanding of the sales and marketing metrics such as, inquires, MQLs, SQLs, conversion rates, contribution to pipeline, close rates, ROI, etc.

  • Budget management skills

  • Hands on experience with all Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Prior experience in creating integrated marketing plans required (online, email, direct mail, telemarketing, events, radio advertising) for a high tech company

  • Active travel in the Latin America area and occasionally to the United States

  • Fluent English, and Spanish (written and spoken)

  • Have access or be responsible for their own transportation to the office and local events

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and actively participate in field marketing events
