You are a Senior Software Engineer who has gained hands on programming skills and have extensive knowledge of programming constructs, data structures, algorithms and scripting languages/framework and a passion for sophisticated complex problems. Position Overview:

The position within CVAD Cloud (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops) will initially focus on the development of Citrix Cloud product line, which will present you with an outstanding opportunity to expand problem-solving situations that will become an invaluable individual career asset. Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Design, and Product Security teams to understand requirements for software development in a Scaled Agile environment

  • Compose and maintain detailed design specifications and component documents

  • Design alongside a team of engineers focusing on 'design first' thinking while incorporating different end user personas

  • Implement front-end and back-end business logic for new features (Full Stack development). Build multithreaded distributed microservices, and focus on reliability and scalability

  • Improv the CI/CD pipelines, tools and engineering processes used to build, test, deploy, or supervise the product

  • Participation in all phases from new feature design/implementation, to production deployment & maintenance

  • Embrace and implement Agile development framework and methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)

  • Embrace and institute coding standards (e.g. code reviews, logging and instrumentation, static/dynamic code analysis, code coverage, unit, integration tests) within the team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 2 years; or PhD with 1 years of experience

  • 5+ years of object oriented programming experience with a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (Data Structures and Algorithms)

  • Experience with developing distributed cloud architectures and infrastructure within AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with databases SQL or NoSQL (Cosmos, Table storage etc.)

  • Experience with developing backend services/ micro services/cloud services /Rest API/Web API

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

Preferred Experience:

  • Skills in C# or other Objected Oriented Programming languages

  • Debugging skills in C# .NET using MS Visual Studio

  • Ability to take a project from prioritization requirements through actual launch of the project

• Experience with Networking, Multi-threading

• Experience mentoring/training the engineering community on complex technical issues

Preferred Experience:

• Skills in C# or other Objected Oriented Programming languages

• Debugging skills in C# .NET using MS Visual Studio

• Experience with databases SQL or NoSQL (Cosmos, Table storage etc.)

• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
