What we're looking for:

You as a successful candidate will join a leading-edge NASDAQ 100 technology company producing software used by millions of people every day.

Position Summary:You are a Staff Software Engineer having experience of at least 9 years in the software industry with a passion for DevOps/CICD and experience developing, deploying, monitoring, and managing cloud services. You will be leading the reliability aspects of the solution with emphasis on scalability. You have expertise working with public cloud infrastructure providers like Azure/AWS/GCP. You have a solid understanding of Linux/Unix, debugging, administration, automation frameworks and software development experience in Python/Go/Java.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will develop CICD pipelines for microservices-based cloud applications using industry-standard tools.

  • You will be responsible for rollout up staging and production environments for cloud services.

  • You will implement resiliency architecture and build frameworks/infrastructure to test for resiliency.

  • You will work closely with internal partners and teams to ensure that we ship software that meets security, SLA, and performance requirements

  • Will work with other development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud-native architecture principles

  • You will provide common solutions to multiple teams by identifying and addressing patterns in infrastructure and applications

  • You will drive technical architecture and standards/process to deliver the best customer experience

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 8+ years of experience building production software systems.

  • Experience developing cloud software services with an emphasis on design for scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Have hands-on experience with public cloud providers - Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud

  • Experience with DevOps stack: Kubernetes, Helm, Artifactory

  • Experience with languages like Python, Go, Java, Perl

  • Have experience with source control and continuous integration tools a plus -  Git/Stash, BitBucket is a must-have

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality.

  • Excellence in technical communications with both technical and non-technical peers
