The Texas A&M University Children’s Center is a premier early childhood care and education center dedicated to providing an exemplary education for over 200 children year-round. At the Texas A&M Children’s Center, we believe that every child deserves the best start in life. Through hands-on exploration and imaginative play, we create an engaging learning environment that nurtures children’s love of discovery and innovation. The Becky Gates Children's Center needs Summer Camp Workers! Gain practical experience and knowledge with school-age children. Education students preferred. Apply now!

What you need to know

Salary: Commensurate based on candidates qualifications

Cover Letter & Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended.

Summer School-Age Teacher

• Responsible for planning and implementing fun activities

• Creating weekly storyboards/newsletters

• Daily communication with families

• Mentoring teaching assistants

• 30-40 hr week

• Base rate $12 per hr.

Summer School-Age Teaching Assistant

• Provide support to teachers

• Assist with planning activities

• Help supervise child interactions

• Assist in communicating with families

• Minimum of 20 hr per week

• Base rate $10 per hr

  Qualifications

Required Education:

• High school diploma

• Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education majors
