Responsibilities You will serve as Supervisor of the Accounting Division with responsibility for supervising a staff of financial analysts, engaged in operating an internal commitment accounting system. You will interpret and implement financial management policy provides guidance to supervised employees and staff elements including publication of Installation Financial Management directives and procedures. You will perform liaison necessary to accomplish and provide various accounting analysis, and to plan the accounting techniques used for the expeditious accumulation of required data in reports preparation, cost accounting, etc. You will provide technical and administrative supervision to financial analyst. You will provide management guidance on current and prior year funds availability and propriety based on various DoD regulations, Public Law and comptroller General divisions Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing financial analysis services that meet day-to-day and long-range management needs, and advises on the accounting implications of decisions AND developing program plans,making analyses of cost variances, evaluating costs, relative spending rates, and the availability of funds.
