Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis:Conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Business Requirements Analysis:Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements to support the development of new products, services, or features.
Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder management.
Data Analysis and Reporting:Gather and analyze data from various sources, including customer feedback, vendor requirements, and Business requirements delivered by the Product Owner, and create detailed reports and presentations to communicate key findings to management and other stakeholders.
Change Management:Support change management initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, identifying, and managing risks, and developing strategies to ensure successful adoption of changes.
Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and collaboration on business objectives.
Customer Experience Management:Collaborate with customer experience teams to identify and address pain points in the customer journey and make recommendations for process and product improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:Continuously evaluate business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize performance.
Business Strategy Development:Contribute to the development and execution of business strategies, including identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and developing go-to-market plans.
Qualifications
Education:A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, statistics, or related fields. An MBA or a master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:At least 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field. Experience in the travel, tourism, or cruise industry is highly desirable.
Analytical:Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights from them. Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools is preferred.
Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Experience in presenting findings to senior management is highly desirable.
Problem-solving:Ability to identify and solve complex business problems using analytical tools and techniques. Experience with Agile, or other problem-solving methodologies is highly desirable.
Technical:Proficiency in using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or other data analysis tools is highly desirable. Experience in data modeling, database design, or software development is a plus.
Interpersonal: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Experience in change management or organizational development is a plus.
Project management:Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
Attention to detail:Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability:Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Industry knowledge:Thorough understanding of the cruise industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to the business domain. Familiarity with cruise ship operations, including revenue management, passenger booking systems, and onboard operations.
Business Acumen:Understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends, including pricing strategies and customer preferences.
