ARAMARK Group Leader in Warren, Michigan

Job Description

The Group Leader manages hourly associates and helps leadership plan, administer and direct all activities, ensuring compliance with the standards established by Aramark and the client. Focuses on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives and customer needs, and delivering the services Aramark is contracted to provide. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to plan operations maintenance management.

Job Responsibilities

? Proactively react to business trends, e.g. labor, expenses and revenue opportunities

? Manage budgets, forecasts, expenses, and supplies

? Supervision of all rafting guides, front office staff, and bus drivers.

? Approve all requisitions for supplies, equipment, and personnel

? Develop, approve, and adhere to labor projections tied to labor standards

? Support safety committee initiatives; meet or exceed annual OSHA frequency targets; execute monthly safety and environmental programs and inspections

? Proactively address employee concerns

? Uphold uniform standards

? Lead and advocate guest service

? Work directly with clients and vendors

? Develop and maintain strong positive interdepartmental relationships

? Challenge and develop departmental manager?s and supervisor?s management skills

? Adhere to ARAMARK policies and procedures

? Create, generate and review reports, i.e. rates, promotional offers, parts inventories and etc.

? Insure satisfactory quarterly and annual NPS inspections.

? Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Superior organizational, time management and communication skills required.

? Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to multi-task.

? Very good problem resolution techniques.

? Solid financial skills and accountability.

? Must be computer literate and proficient with computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

? Must be willing to work long hours, rotational shifts, weekends, holidays and have rotational days off occasionally based off client needs.

? P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is required.

? Ability to manage and maintain inventory/cost controls is required.

? Ability to deal effectively with customers and other company personnel. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, guests or employees.

? Very good knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures. Ability to interpret and apply safety rules, operating, maintenance and procedure manuals.
