Element Materials Technology Full Stack Web Developer in Warren, Ohio

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Full Stack Web Developer, in our Warren, Ohio facility. The Full Stack Web Developer will be responsible for developing data driven web sites. The individual will work independently or collaborate with other members of the Web team to ensure on-time product delivery and enhance system performance optimization. The primary responsibilities include creating user interactions on various websites and platforms, writing code and developing databases and services for functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Web application development for global retrieval of test information and data

  • Software engineering support for development of data acquisition systems and network interface

  • Retrievable database development for efficient data storage

  • Network support to minimize test network downtime

  • Must have working knowledge of software systems that include: C#, Javascript, Transaction SQL, Active Server Pages, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Network Server

  • Manage and complete software development process from conception to deployment

  • Oversee the end-to-end life cycle for software and application production

  • Automate testing and provide feedback during development

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in information technology, Engineering, or related discipline; or related work experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with web programming/development

  • Software development, installation and modification in an on-line environment

  • Ability to develop and maintain web services and interfaces

  • Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development

  • Project management experience

  • Knowledge of test equipment instrumentation

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology
