Attorney (Fund Regulatory & Disclosure)

This is an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join Federated Hermes' Legal Team and serve as the primary day-to-day legal contact for the Legal department, internal business units, committees and outside counsel. You will work on investment company disclosure, filing and related requirements, product and regulatory initiatives, and support of investment company Board relationships.

What you will do:

  • Provide legal counsel regarding investment company disclosure, filing and related requirements, product and regulatory initiatives, and support of investment company Board relationships
  • Monitor and provide, or cause to be provided, legal advice to relevant internal Business Units on regulatory issues impacting investment companies, including analysis of and comment on proposed regulation.
  • Support Federated Hermes' request for proposal (RFP) team.

     

What we are looking for:

  • Juris doctorate and admittance to practice law in the United States required (preferably Pennsylvania)
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience with Investment Management Firm or Law Firm working with the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and/or Securities Exchange Act of 1940 (collectively, Federal Securities Laws) or related compliance experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment company or similar registered securities offerings required.

  • Hybrid Schedule (in-office / remote)
  • Warrendale, PA
