Amazon Team Lead, Catalog Manager, EU Marketplace Expansion in Warsaw, Poland

Amazon’s seller marketplace is home to more than two million small businesses, individual sellers and household names who reach tens of millions of potential customers. These customers can choose from more than 120 million products and this vast choice is only possible because of the many entrepreneurial, third-party businesses who offer their products on the platform. Today more than 50% of worldwide purchases from Amazon’s sites are made from third party sellers.

The EU Expansion Team is looking for an experienced Team Lead to drive and lead a team of Catalog Specialists, responsible for supporting our Sellers to list new products on our marketplace and improving and automating our listing processes.

Key job responsibilities

· Manage and develop a team of up to 2-8 Catalog Specialists to deliver on listing goals for Sellers and Account Managers in the Marketplace business.

· Ensure your team provides prompt, efficient, detailed, and customer-oriented services to sellers and account managers.

· Conduct deep dives to understand root causes of team performance and actions to accelerate growth.

· Serving as a point of contact for escalated contact resolution of business impacted or sensitive nature issues. You are expected to deliver timely, accurate and professional support and information to all key stakeholders, including both business and technical audiences.

· Identifying gaps and improvement areas in listing process, finding solutions to those and getting those implemented in collaboration with worldwide teams.

· Driving initiatives to close our catalog gaps vs other Amazon marketplaces and driving projects that improve catalog-related processes and catalog quality.

Basic Qualifications

· University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related quantitative field.

· Fluency in English and at least one other European language (preferably Dutch, Polish or Swedish),

· Track record in people management skills.

· Superior verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and external partners.

· Ability to drive successful projects with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels.

· Highly organized and results oriented.

· Exceptional analytical skills to break down complex problems, and a strong will to deliver results.

· Must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed and decisiveness to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to operate clearly in an ambiguous environment; strong ability to influence.

· Enjoys working in international cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with core programming languages (e.g: HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, .NET, Java Script, Python)

• Experience in retail and/or a technology support / eCommerce business preferred but not essential
