Position Description
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum Experience 6 Summary The Regulatory and Applications Affairs Specialist is a subject matter expert who handles the publication of regulations and related materials published by the Board and the FOMC in the Federal Register and the Code of Federal Regulations. The Regulatory and Applications Affairs Specialist also supports all aspects of the processing of banking applications, including publication of documents. The Regulatory and Applications Affairs Specialist uses initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems and in developing policies and procedures for the publication of documents and the processing of banking applications.
Position Requirements
Qualifications: Requires strong analytical capabilities, initiative, and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, along with outstanding grammatical and editing skills. Expert knowledge of the Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations publication processes is desired. Must be able to effectively with ambiguity and adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Must be able to work effectively with senior management and junior staff, including explaining the most complex administrative and operations issues/concepts to all. Knowledge level is typically achieved through completion of a bachelor’s degree and six (6) years relevant experience or the equivalent combination of training and extensive work-related experience. Knowledge of the Board’s practices and procedures a plus. Remarks:
