Eagle One Solutions, Inc., a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a SharePoint Developer III to support a large federal IT organization. The SharePoint Developer III will develop tools, templates, applications, and sites using Microsoft PowerPlatform including PowerBI, PowerApps, and SharePoint Online. This is a highly visible position and will require a self-motivated, well-versed, and knowledgeable candidate to support the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform as lead SharePoint developer in a small team environment, working directly with the Team Lead to review requirements and design alternatives. Monitor activities and provide status updates to the Team Lead.

  • Provide infrastructure management services for SharePoint web applications and websites. Develop and enhance web-based SharePoint applications and websites. Develop SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and applications.

  • Correct identified security vulnerabilities. Resolve and document resolution of any security findings.

  • Develop project plans and document the design and functionality of web-based applications and websites. Perform operational support for deployed products, including troubleshooting and defect/problem resolution. Ensure work is planned and executed in accordance with sound SDLC practices, including defect resolution. Provide technical and configuration data for planning and reporting.

  • Project plans include: functional requirements, application architecture diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, work breakdown structures, prototyping, project schedules, unit and application test plans.

  • Able to plan and execute work using any project management methodology – Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Lean, etc.

  • Provide training to customer in SharePoint application use.

  • Provide user documentation for each new SharePoint application.

  • Respond to requests and provide information and documentation for internal system reviews and audits.

  • Interact directly with the client on technical matters.

  • Effectively work in a collaborative team environment. Provide feedback, direction, and guidance to other technical staff. Ability to present ideas and solutions to other development team members. Participate in daily team standups.

  • Develop interactive reports with visual analytics using Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Stay up to date with Microsoft technologies and recommended practices.

  • Occasional travel to Washington, DC, as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field.

  • 5 years experience in government project management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to high-quality output

  • Posses a Public Trust Clearance, but should have ability to go through security clearance process if required

  • Experience with management information systems (e.g., financial, accounting, budget, purchasing, etc.)

  • Computer skills to include but not limited to, skills in operating Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Word, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Power Point, and Visio.

  • SharePoint Online modern site administration and development

  • Application development using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and toolchain with React and Fluent UI

  • PowerShell and PnP.PowerShell module

  • Azure DevOps or other source code control service

  • Power Automate workflows using SharePoint Online

  • Managed metadata and Term Store

  • Complex form development using validation rules

  • SPFx development using Microsoft Graph

  • Power BI management and report creation

  • Form Customizers, App Customizers, Field Customizers, and Command Sets

  • JSON formatting of list views and columns

  • Developing accessible user interfaces meeting Federal (Section 508) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

  • Use of React Hook Form or other form validation library

  • Advanced permission management, e.g., item level unique permissions

  • Section 508 compliance and the creation of 508 compliant documents.

  • Ability to manage large, complex spreadsheets and database tools.

Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
