Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert Grants Manager to support one of our government clients.
Essential Job Functions
Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs;
Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff;
Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
Consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
Requirements
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field and 20 years of experience
Master’s Degree in a business-related field and 15 years of experience
Experience Requirements:
15 -20 years of experience in federal grants management support
Experience in Pre-Award and Post-Award Grants Management
Program Management and Program Evaluation experience for grant programs
Experience supporting grant closeout activities
Experience conducting program compliance reviews
Desired Experience:
Previous Department of Commerce Experience
Experience at the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA)
