Summary This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - Management and Budget. As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST, you will Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of the OFM staff responsible for budget formulation and execution, and general administrative support. Responsibilities The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Participate in meetings with senior leaders at Treasury to communicate financial and administrative goals and results. Identify and develop ways to resolve problems or cope with issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives. Make decisions on non-routine, costly, or controversial training needs and training requests related to employees of the unit. Requirements Conditions of Employment Key Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required. Must successfully complete a background investigation. All new hires will be required to comply with federal ethics laws. Qualifications You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized Experience for the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience and a working knowledge in ALL of the following: Experience in developing and reviewing a wide variety of written materials related to Financial Management, using experience with laws and regulations affecting financial management ; AND Experience resolving issues and coordinating leadership approval of financial, staffing and contractual documents; AND Experience working with senior officials regarding issues with high level options and recommendations. Specialized Experience for the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience and a working knowledge in ALL of the following: Experience assisting in the development of a wide variety of written materials related to Financial Management using experience with laws and regulations affecting financial management.; AND Experience working with and advising senior officials on high level issues. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
