Trinity Health Front Desk - Medical Receptionist -Oncology Per Diem in Waterbury, Connecticut

Come join our Oncology team at Saint Mary's Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!

Position Purpose

This position provides coverage to our Front Office Team. This role is responsible for check in, scanning, pre-registration WQ, appointment confirmations & answers office phones.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the accurate registration, co-pay collection and scheduling of patients within the practices

  • Assists internal and external customers with all clerical tasks within the office

  • Motivated to provide patient-centered experiences, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of one year experience working in a physician’s office preferably in a similar capacity

  • Familiarity with medical terminology required
