Full-Time Permanent

Wallenstein, ON/ Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Compensation: $75,000-$90,000

Who are we looking for?

We are a rapidly growing company seeking a Senior Landscape Designer and Sales Specialist to join our team. At Earthscape, we foster a collaborative and horizontal management style, where your input and teamwork will shape the success of the design team.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Landscape Designer and Sales Specialist, you will be the face of our company, representing our brand, values, and commitment to exceptional customer service and creative design solutions that align with our client's budgets. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential and existing customers, build rapport, and guide them through their journey with us to sell the project. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers feel valued, heard, and supported at every stage of their interaction with our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Initiate meaningful conversations with prospective customers to understand their needs, desires, and pain points. Show genuine interest in their stories and offer personalized design solutions that align with their requirements.

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers by regularly reaching out, providing updates, and expressing gratitude for their loyalty. Demonstrate care and empathy, creating a sense of trust and partnership.

  • Keen design sensibility: Adept at crafting designs that align seamlessly with your client's budgetary constraints.

  • Customer Support: Serve as a reliable point of contact for customers, promptly addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues they may encounter. Proactively take the initiative to resolve problems and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.

  • Sales Growth: Achieve and surpass sales targets by identifying new opportunities, upselling/cross-selling products or services, and converting leads into loyal customers

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the rest of the sales and design team to help each other achieve the goals within the division

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in Landscape Architecture or Design

  • Proficiency with Vectorworks or AutoCAD. Your knowledge of Sketchup is a bonus

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry

  • Ability to read blueprint plans and surveys as well as working site drawings, grade and layout plans

  • You may either be a sales-minded person who can design or a design-minded person who can sell – either way, you can speak ‘landscape design' authentically and convincingly;

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably within a customer-centric organization

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and build authentic relationships

  • Empathetic and attentive to customer needs, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive in addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues on time

  • Goal-driven and motivated to exceed sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment

  • Construction experience is a bonus

Compensation: $75,000-$90,000
