Adecco US, Inc. CNC Machinist – 2nd and 3rd shifts in Waukesha, Wisconsin

  • Set up, adjust and operate a variety of NC/CNC controlled lathes or machining centers to perform turning, boring, threading, contouring, milling, drilling, tapping, reaming and angle and taper cuts to close tolerances and finish requirements.

  • Work from routings, process sheets and blueprints. Use a variety of precision instruments to set-up and inspect work.

  • Assist in establishing program requirements. Make machine adjustments to correct deviations from program specifications. Note and report program problems. Make adjustments to program where applicable.

  • May recommend tooling arrangement, fixtures, operational sequences. Mount and secure tooling, align and secure fixtures, platens and work pieces. Help make set-up & instruct new or less qualified operators. Run secondary machine or auxiliary operations when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Fanuc controls preferred.

  • Solid knowledge of machine shop & CNC techniques.

  • Two + years CNC turning experience.

  • Solid background in shop math and blueprint reading.

  • Experienced in use of hoists and cranes.

  • Personal tools & willingness to buy tools as needed.

  • Experience on large diameter vertical lathes helpful.

  • Ability to lift up to 38 lbs.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $33.00 per hour
