JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY The Quality Specialist audits critical path processes and inspects results against specified requirements. Additionally, the Specialist understands Statistical Process Control and the application in an Engineer-To-Order manufacturing environment. The Quality Specialist also helps the organization meet ISO standards in documentation and calibration requirements.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assesses product conformance to customer requirements and evaluates product quality via gateway inspections. Verifies product quality through electrical tests such as ratio, high-pot and meggar tests. Audits various documents, processes and products to determine the effectiveness of operator inspections and also to assess compliance to standards and engineering requirements. This audit will also verify product conformance to customer requirements. Gathers data and performs analysis to determine the root cause of problems identified through, NC\'s, FDR\'s, audits and assessments. This will be a high impact responsibility of the Specialist. Helps eliminate and prevent problems. Applies SPC controls to monitor and control a process to ensure that it operates at its full potential to produce conforming product. Identifies non-conforming materials and documents, investigates, labels, segregates, repairs and resolves issues. Validates processes that cannot be monitored by inspection activity through scheduled sampling of the internal oil and air systems, oven temperature control, vapor phase performance, etc. Audits shop processes. Works with Customers, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers to communicate requirements, verify processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
