Essential Job Functions
Software design and development of applications and frameworks using Core Java, Spring Boot and other Java technologies
Understand / learn architecture and design of existing enterprise applications developed mainly using Core Java/Swing, but also having components developed in C++, Perl, and Python etc.)
Technical communication with internal and external stake holders and collaborate with global team
Required Skills:
4 to 6 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks using Core Java, Spring Boot and other Java technologies
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, javascript frameworks and basic understanding of Angular 2+ Should be able to understand / learn architecture and design of existing enterprise applications developed mainly using Core Java/Swing, but also having components developed in C++, Perl, and Python etc.)
Good understanding of web servers, deployment and hosting of web applications. (Experience in FastCGI or uWSGI is good to have!)
Technical communication with internal and external stake holders and collaborate with global team
Basic understanding of Linux and Linux scripting / Python
Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science of Equivalent Engineering Degree
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
