We are in the search for a meticulous and proficient Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our team in the cleaning industry. The Accounts Payable Supervisor position is based in Wayne, New Jersey, and involves managing high-volume invoice processing, supervising a team of Accounts Payable specialists, and overseeing the full cycle of accounts payable operations. The ideal Accounts Payable Supervisor will have 5+ years of accounts payable experience and live local to the Wayne area. This Accounts Payable Supervisor role is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems and workflows. Other responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Supervisor will include but not be limited to:

• Managing high-volume invoice processing in an accurate and timely manner.

• Supervising a team of Accounts Payable specialists, providing guidance, and support.

• Overseeing the full cycle of accounts payable operations, from invoice receipt to payment processing, while adhering to established policies and procedures.

• Coordinating with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and address payment inquiries.

• Developing and implementing process improvements to streamline accounts payable procedures and enhance productivity.

• Conducting regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Generating reports and providing analysis on accounts payable metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, and IT, to optimize systems and workflows related to accounts payable processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor role

• Extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP) management and check processing.

• Proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports and documents.

• Demonstrated experience in supervisory management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively interacting with team members and other stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and other financial software.
