Robert Half Marketing Communications Coordinator in West Chester, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half Marketing & Creative has a client in need of an Associate Product Manager with market research experience. This is a long-term consulting opportunity that will take place onsite in West Chester, PA 3 days a week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Business Unit Manager for all product management activities and new product launches

  • Support development of the product plan for assigned product categories

  • Work with Business Unit manager to conduct planning and analysis to provide product development for new products, including pricing, forecasting, launches, life cycle management, etc.

  • Perform market research to gain insight into consumer behavior and uncover unmet consumer needs

  • Develop a deep understanding of the market and competitors, their products, and how they go to market including pricing and promotion by leveraging existing materials and research

  • Generate insights and opportunities through ideation, teardowns, mock-ups, and other analysis

  • Support the Business Unit manager to approve final product concepts presented by the Product Design team

  • Work closely with the Creative team in package design and development

  • Conduct analysis of sales performance across key retailers and determine proper course of action based on insights

  • Assist in planning, tracking, and managing product availability across all channels to ensure on time product launches and meeting customer line review requirements

  • Help develop specific product models for online channels and for open channel customer purchases

  • Participate in product line reviews as needed

    Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; an MBA is a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with acute attention to detail

  • 1-3 year of experience in sales/finance/marketing/ business analytics is a plus

  • Possess very strong analytical and financial skills essential for market and competitive evaluation, pricing and line management

  • Ability to work effectively across functions

  • Team player with good interpersonal skills

  • Possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Word
