responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements.

  • Lead, coach, and develop plant teams, ensuring proper staffing and scheduling.

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet specifications.

  • Implement corrective actions for product defects and quality concerns.

  • Enforce safety regulations and conduct safety audits.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards.

  • Manage material planning and work with procurement to optimize inventory.

  • Monitor operational costs and manage the plant's budget.

  • Prepare reports on production performance and financial impact.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and automation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and efficiency.

  • Ensure accurate inventory control and warehouse management.

  • Lead safety training and emergency preparedness drills.

  • Drive a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
