Adair's Landscape & Maintenance Corp. Maintenance Crew Members in WEST JORDAN, Utah
10 Maintenance Crew Members needed for permanent, full-time employment.
Job Duties: Landscape and maintain grounds of commercial and residential properties with year-round contracts using hand and power tools and equipment, including lawnmower (walk behind and rider), edger, trimmer, backpack blower, wheelbarrow, shovel, rake, broom, ladder, hedge pruner, saw, and chain saw. Install and repair irrigation systems and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Lay sod, plant flowers, shrubs and trees, mow, trim shrubs, spread dirt, rake, blow, prune, mulch, fertilize, pull weeds, and aerate. Load and unload materials and tools and keep them clean. Operate vehicles as needed and complete job site paperwork. During the Winter months, install winter sod and landscape, perform specific and specialized winter rejuvenation pruning for shrubs and plants and plant winter shrubs and plants. Install and repair irrigation systems and conduct shut offs of system activation for winter months. Install and repair drainage systems and maintain gutters. Winter lawn clean ups. May install and remove seasonal decorations. Shovel and remove snow/ice from shrubs, plants, walkways and driveways. Remove snow from parking lots using a truck with a plow affixed to the front. Work will be performed with relatively minimal daily oversight.
The employer will provide on-the-job training. The employer will provide all tools, supplies, equipment and uniform required to perform the job at no charge.
Requirements: Various Worksites: Travel daily to and from job sites, which are all located within normal commuting distance, in Salt Lake, Utah, Wasatch, Summit and Davis counties. Incidental transportation to and from job sites is provided from the main office daily.
Wages/Terms: $17.21/hr., and $25.82/hr. for OT. 40 hours per week.
