Job Description: The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the Royal Canin team assigned to this DC specifically and manage processes, metrics, reporting, data, and continuous improvement projects in relationship with our 3PL provider at the Regional Distribution Hub. This role will be responsible for the logistics operations management associated with a region or distribution center. This role will play a key role in ensuring that the requirements and business processes associated with the 3PL provider function smoothly, while also ensuring that issues and risks are identified and managed efficiently. The position will play a major role with inventory governance, management, reconciliation, and root cause analysis. This role will work cross-functionally with multiple supply chain teams across both the region and hosted market operations. The role demands a focus and concentration on continuous improvements. What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain related fields APICS Certification - Preferred
• Broad knowledge of Logistics, Distribution, and Transportation processes
• 4+ Years experiences in Warehouse operations and Inventory Management
• CPG and Food Industry experience is strongly preferred
• Previous 3PL experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead the Royal Canin team assigned to the Regional 3PL Distribution Center.
• Manage the 3PL account relationship associated with the region, or distribution center.
• Report any issues with 3PL or site performance to Royal Canin leadership
• Work with the Royal Canin 3PL to identify issues within the operation and devise strategies to overcome the issues
• Develop reporting tools and metrics that provide a clear picture of operational execution for the site.
• Manage the budget associated with the logistics operations of the site.
• Support training of Royal Canin procedures with 3PL associates
• Working with the Royal Canin 3PL - implement business procedures, best practices and internal controls necessary to ensure 3PL compliance and minimize business and legal risk, including the creation of SOP's and documented procedures.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
