The Westfield Academy and Central School seeking applicants for a probationary elementary education teacher position for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates for this position must demonstrate a commitment to working in a highly collaborative and positive team environment that puts students first at all times to collectively support the academic, social, and emotional needs of all children.
Minimum Criteria:
Hold a valid NYS teaching certificate in tenure area;
Possess a thorough knowledge of field;
Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and good judgment;
Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize for effective teaching and learning;
Understand the nature and needs of the age group served;
Able to develop and maintain productive human relationships;
Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.
